8/4/2010: Ocean County, NJ: Powerplay Design and the Arizona Sundogs have enterted into a content creation agreement for home games at the Tim's Toyota Center for the 2010-11 campaign. The Arizona Sundogs are a double-A minor-league professional ice hockey team based in Prescott Valley, Arizona that began play in the Central Hockey League in 2006.
The team name, sundog, referes to an atmospheric phenomenon primarily associated with the reflection of sunlight by small ice crystals in cirrus clouds, resulting in what appears to be two suns in the sky. The Sundogs' primary 'S' logo makes reference to this occurrence with large and small starbursts.
"We are thilled to work with the Sundogs this season. The orginizations' management takes great pride in the teams' branding and fan experience. We at Powerplay are very excited to be a part of that." said in a statement by Tim Snyder (GM Powerplay Design).
